About the Role: As an Early Years Support Worker, you will work closely with staff to provide personalised support, helping students develop independence, resilience, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children in the Early Years setting with individual learning activities and developmental tasks.
Assist teachers in delivering a tailored curriculum that meets each child’s unique needs.
Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development through structured and creative activities.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children to foster confidence and independence.
Monitor and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments and planning to inform personalised support.
Key Requirements:
Experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years or SEN setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive early years practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and resilience, with the ability to adapt support to meet individual needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to support a positive and engaging learning environment.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
