Receptionist (Co-Working Space)
Location: Farringdon
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Hourly Rate: £13.85+
Start Date: Tuesday 16th June
Duration: Ongoing, with potential to become permanent
About the Role: We're looking for a proactive and personable Receptionist to join a vibrant co‑working space in the heart of Farringdon. This is a front‑facing role where you'll be the first impression for members, clients, and visitors – creating a welcoming, professional, and community‑led environment.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for all visitors, delivering a warm, professional meet‑and‑greet experience
* Manage incoming deliveries and ensure they are handled efficiently
* Answer incoming calls, take messages, and direct enquiries appropriately
* Maintain the overall presentation and organisation of the front‑of‑house and communal areas
* Set up and prepare meeting rooms to a high standard
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
* Support the planning and coordination of team events and social activities
* Assist with the delivery of client and community events alongside the Events team
* Provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager, including preparing and sending community newsletters
* Contribute to the smooth running of the office and wider co‑working environment
About You
* Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with people at all levels
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Proactive and happy to take initiative in a fast‑moving environment
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A team player with a positive, can‑do attitude
* Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or a customer‑facing role is desirable
