At NAIAD, we’re rethinking how swimming pools are managed. Our smart control systems make it easier for people to monitor and maintain their pools—automatically, efficiently, and sustainably.
Now we’re looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to help us turn bold ideas into brilliant hardware. You’ll work closely with our design, engineering, and production teams to develop, test, and improve the electronics within our products.
It’s a hands-on role within a start-up environment with real impact—perfect for someone who loves solving problems and wants to help shape the future of our products.
What you’ll do
Design and develop embedded electronic systems for our pool control units
Create and refine schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware prototypes
Test and validate circuit designs for performance, safety, and compliance
Support hardware selection and contribute to system-level design decisions
Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration
Assist with compliance and certification for various international markets
Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues through production and field testing
What you’ll bring
A degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
Proven and demonstrable experience in electronic and hardware design
Confidence working with embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, and power systems
Ability to manage Bill of Materials (BoM) efficiently
Experience with tools like Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g. CE, UKCA, FCC) is a bonus
A curious mindset, a love for detail, and a hands-on approach
Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
