Field Services Engineer - Chester, North Wales & Surrounding Areas
Chester-based (covering North Wales, East Wirral, and surrounding towns)
Full-time - 37.5 hours/week | £28,000-£30,000 + £3,500+ bonus | Company vehicle + fuel card | Training provided

We're working with a respected IT services provider looking to bring on a Field Services Engineer to support clients across Chester, North Wales, East Wirral (e.g. Birkenhead), and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where hardware knowledge is key - especially laptops and desktops. You don't need to be an EPOS expert (training is provided), but you should be confident with things like swapping out hard drives, replacing power supplies, and general device repairs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Visiting customer sites to support and repair IT kit - laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
* Swapping out hardware such as hard drives, power supplies, and screens
* Supporting and installing EPOS devices (training provided if needed)
* Delivering clear, helpful support to end-users
* Keeping basic job notes and following standard processes
* Taking part in a 1-in-6 on-call rota (with extra pay)
What We're Looking For
* Hands-on experience with laptop and PC repair (retail, IT support, repair shops, etc.)
* Confidence in replacing components like hard drives, RAM, or power supplies
* Willing to learn EPOS and other device types
* A friendly, helpful approach with customers
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
* Willingness to go through security clearance (supported)

Where You'll Be Working
