As they continue to grow, they are seeking an Internal Auditor to join their team and contribute to their success.
Position Overview:
As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for maintaining the internal audit matrix, conducting audits to the required frequency, for managing the close out of non-conformances through collaboration with the relevant function and for maintaining the relevant KPI’s.
Key Responsibilities:
• To ensure that both sites are compliant with the internal auditing requirements of our Customers, BRC and relevant third parties.
• To maintain the internal audit proformas in line with relevant customer, BRC or legislative changes.
• Working with the Quality Systems Manager to maintain the risk-based audit matrix/frequency.
• To conduct announced and unannounced audits within the required frequencies.
• To work cross functionally with relevant departments in order to close out any non-conformities within the required timescales.
• To maintain the internal auditing KPI’s, raising awareness of slippage to timescales, serious non-conformities, etc.
• Undertake additional work as required by Line Manager, Senior Managers or Company Directors.
Requirements:
• Previous Technical and Food Safety internal auditing is highly desirable.
• Experienced in working with the key high street retailers.
• Previous M&S experience is highly desirable.
• Ideally Lead Auditor qualified.
• Experience in a range of different food categories.
• Practical experience of HACCP
• Practical experience in TACCP/VACCP
