At Rose Engineering, we're more than just a construction company — we're a close-knit team that takes pride in what we do. We're now looking for a proactive and approachable HR, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager to join us and help shape the future of our people, culture, and compliance.
Why This Role Matters
You'll be the go-to person for all things HR and H&S — supporting our staff, making sure we're working safely, and keeping us on top of the latest legislation. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. From welcoming new starters, to carrying out site visits and keeping our records audit-ready, you'll play a vital part in helping our people and business thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting staff at every stage of their journey — from recruitment and induction through to training and appraisals.
* Keeping our HR and H&S systems up to date and easy to use.
* Advising managers and employees on HR and H&S matters in a clear, practical way.
* Visiting sites to make sure we're working safely and meeting standards.
* Leading on audits and maintaining the records that keep our accreditations secure.
* This list is not exhaustive.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience in HR and Health & Safety (bonus points if it's in engineering, construction, or manufacturing).
* Knows employment law and H&S legislation but can explain it in a down-to-earth way.
* Enjoys building positive relationships with people at all levels.
* Is organised, approachable, and ready to get stuck in.
What You'll Get
* A competitive salary.
* The chance to make a real impact in a growing business.
* A supportive team environment where your voice will be heard.
* Opportunities for training and professional development.
