Principal Tasks and Accountabilities of the Job Strategy and Policy Contributes to the development of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions UK strategy and support into policies for the different Sites. Operations Ensures logistics services to customers are in accordance with contractual obligations, SLA, regulations and internal procedures, monitors the implementation and timely interventions (by Site Managers) and evaluates performance. Information Technology Oversees the development, implementation and maintenance of equipment, systems and installations and the engineering infrastructure, ensures continuously optimization of process technology and oversees preparation of systems and equipment for new services. Finance Plans, budgets and controls operating expenditures and prepares well-thought-out investment proposals (capital expenditures) and implementation. 2.Strategic areas of responsibility Stakeholder Management Builds and maintains constructive work relations with relevant stakeholders of the different Sites and Rhenus Warehouse Solutions UK and peers within other countries organisations People Management Manages, coaches, evaluates and develops colleagues within their own department and enables cross functional collaboration, both in line with HR policy and Global Management Reporting Provides insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc (operations) reports KPIs The management of the operational & customers KPIs across the sites. Driving the inefficiencies with handling margins on key customer accounts. 3.Project responsibilities Optimization & Continuous Improvement Establishes effective continuous improvement programs and standardization of working processes and procedures, monitors the implementation and timely interventions and evaluates performance. Quality Management Responsible for the development and maintenance of QM procedures and processes in line Quality accreditation regulations ISO, BRC ensures the retention of certificates What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience, master’s degree preferred. 10 years’ experience as Head of Operations, Operations Director, or similar leadership role in comparable industries;
