We are currently recruiting for a Contract Kitchen Designer to join the Wren family. The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic and have high levels of organisational ability. This is a permanent, office-based position. Main Responsibilities: Estimate project costs from plans and BOQs Produce estimates to meet design and customer needs Attend design reviews with clients and sales Submit Design Approval packs Ensure designs meet requirements and deadlines, and are compliant with regulations and standards Provide technical support to team members Manage design changes and cost adjustments Process sales team POs Support new and ongoing projects, revisions, and inquiries Coordinate with sales, production, project control, site managers, and clients Maintain current drawings and pricing for quotes and project control In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document. About You Skills: Be creative and technical Fantastic communication skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and planner/CAD software Proficient in reading architectural and kitchen drawings Detail-oriented, budget-conscious, and knowledgeable in kitchen planning, installation, and regulations Experience in high-volume plan creation Estimating or prior design experience Applicants for this role who are offered employment will be subject to a basic criminal record check from the Disclosure & Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
