Location: Hybrid (offices based in Dundee, Perth & West Dunbartonshire). Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri). Salary: £53,192 – £65,081 per annum (+ Car allowance). Closing Date: Midnight on Sunday 21 September. Interview Date: W/C 29 September 2025.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Asset team to deliver a high performing, customer-focused service, encouraging continuous learning and cross-department collaboration.
* Develop and manage the Group’s Asset Management Strategy, ensuring accurate and well-maintained assets data to inform investment priorities and climate change ambitions.
* Deliver asset-related services to support the Group’s factoring service.
* Ensure that all asset-related procurement activities comply with regulatory and organisational standards.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation as it applies to the Group’s stock and factoring portfolio.
* Deliver planned, cyclical maintenance and service contracts for the Group’s stock and factoring portfolio.
* Effectively manage all asset-related contracts to ensure positive outcomes and high service standards.
* Set, measure, and report on KPIs; aim for high performance and customer satisfaction in asset-related services.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors and consultants by providing management information as required.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed in this role, you will bring a relevant degree or professional qualification, with senior-level experience in asset management and investment planning. Strong budget skills and proven ability to manage procurement and contracts in line with asset-related legislation and regulatory standards are required.
You’ll be confident setting and achieving ambitious performance targets, with a track record of driving improvements in performance management and customer service. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams are essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
About the Role & Working Arrangements
The Asset Manager is a Hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home, Caledonia Group Offices (Dundee, Perth, or West Dunbartonshire), or on a mobile basis to be near customers or assets. Travel throughout the group’s areas of operation is required.
