The Opportunity
Due to an increase in projects, our client is currently seeking an experienced Issues Resolution Lead (Technical Risk, Opportunities and Resolutions Lead) to oversee the management of the client’s key engineering and technical risks and lead the resolution of some of the client’s most complex and transverse technical topics.
The role
As an Issues Resolution Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key stakeholders across multiple areas of our business and drive for collaboration, ensuring seamless planning and coordination of mitigation plans. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment of mitigating actions, driving for effective resolutions of the client priority technical challenges and tracking and reporting on progress.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Drawing upon support from a wide network of stakeholders within the client organisation you will identify emerging priority technical topics and lead the resolution of complex and transverse issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions while overseeing the management of key engineering and technical risks.
Communication is key. You will be the bridge between technical teams, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. Working as an Issues Resolution Lead, you’ll know exactly who the important internal and external stakeholders are and facilitate clear communication between technical teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders - essential to ensuring a structured approach to risk resolution.
As the Issues Resolution Lead, you will report to both the Head of Transverse Technical and the Technical ROR Manager.
You will champion alignment with client replication strategy and ensure a coordinated approach is applied to managing client technical risks.
This is a highly collaborative role, requiring strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Experience working in large infrastructure projects.
Background in civil or geotechnical engineering.
Project management experience in a relevant industry.
Understanding of Risk Management processes.
Excellent communication skills in client-facing and contractor facing situations.
Highly organised and ability to work independently.
