Secondary Teaching Assistant – Taunton
Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their team and support schools across the Taunton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education who wants to make a real difference in the classroom.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and pupils to provide targeted support, helping students reach their full potential. Your role may involve assisting with lesson delivery, providing one-to-one or small group interventions, and supporting students with additional learning needs.

What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with young people (school-based or similar setting preferred)
* A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptability and confidence working with students aged 11–16
* A valid child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
