What you'll be doing Manage costs in relation to infrastructure projects with experience of identifying commercial risks and opportunities in respect of their works Deliver varied commercial duties including responsibility for procuring and managing supply chain Optimise commercial performance through diligent cost control and value for money opportunities, whilst achieving the required standards and quality for our customers Create and maintain commercial relationships to both internal and external stakeholders Contract administration with both client and subcontractors Provide support and adherence for the Gated Business Lifecycle process Mentor and develop junior members of the team Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification Proactively drive career and personal development, including professional certification Commercial management of a large infrastructure project or a portfolio of smaller projects Who we're looking for You will have the following qualities/experience: BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards) Experience with key contracts such as NEC Good communication skills Great Teamwork / Role Model Leadership skills Achievement Focus (Achieving Results) Business and Customer Awareness Applies organisational aims & objectives Identifies with the customer needs Recognises opportunities & threats Experience working on NEC 3 & 4 Contracts Why work for us Day in, day out, our teams deliver amazing projects in challenging conditions; developing, managing and maintaining the vital infrastructure and public spaces that modern economies, societies and communities rely on.
