About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Legal Secretary / Administrator to join our dynamic Commercial Property Division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys providing high-quality support that keeps legal work moving efficiently.
You will work closely with fee earners and colleagues across multiple office locations, playing a key role in helping the team deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Day to day, youll be successful in this role by:
Providing high quality and professional support to the Commercial Property division. You will:
Monitoring and managing a workflow inbox covering all office locations for the Commercial Property division.
Preparing and formatting legal documents using firm templates.
Submitting and managing commercial property searches.
Setting up DocuSign envelopes and monitoring completion.
Maintaining HighQ sites and producing client reports.
Managing our incoming post through our internal system Flowmatrix.
Completing Companies House filings, SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
File opening/closing, expenses and general admin tasks.
Due to the nature of the work our preference would be that you spend at least 3 days a week in the office.
It is an integral part of this role that you comply with information security and all firm policies and procedures
The Role Is Right For You If
You love being organised and managing a busy and varied workload, we would be keen to hear from you. Previous experience of working within a similar role in a legal environment is preferable.
This role will suit you if you like to prioritise your own workload, work closely to deadlines, can work with minimum supervision and under pressure. You will need to demonstrate from experience that you are exceptionally organised and proactive, used to organising yourself and others, when necessary, that you have a flexible can-do attitude, and the skills to work closely with various stakeholders.
You will have excellent spelling and grammar. You will be proficient with the usual Microsoft packages and be comfortable with learning new databases and other software packages. You will have quick and accurate keyboard skills.
You should be able to demonstrate a solid level of academic achievement, with a minimum of 6 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
We expect you to be someone who takes pride in your work and in providing a first class support service, anticipating our lawyers needs in advance wherever possible, and paying meticulous attention to detail in all of your work.

With an enviable client base including household names, developers, investors and housebuilders, we are looking to appoint a commercial property secretary / administrator to join the division supporting our team of talented lawyers. This role can be based in either our Taunton, Bristol or Cardiff office but you will be working across the whole division supporting fee earners in all 7 of our offices.
