An esteemed educational institution, renowned for its pioneering approach in supporting young adults with learning disabilities, is inviting applications for a Learning Support Practitioner. Nestled in the charming seaside town of Minehead, this role offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of their students, preparing them for a bright future.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be integral in assisting the students within residential settings and a training hotel, supporting their mission to maximise student potential in both personal and professional capacities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Upholding high standards and expectations for all students, encouraging their growth and development.
2. Collaborating with educational leaders to foster a positive learning environment.
3. Implementing strategies to enhance students' skills in communication, advocacy, teamwork, and presentation.
4. Providing tailored 1:1 support, focusing on personal management and independence.
Ideal Candidate:
5. Experience in similar roles preferred, but comprehensive training is offered.
6. Background in care or education, with an understanding of disability support beneficial.
7. Ability to work flexible shifts, including alternate weekends, as part of a rota.
