The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic for a flexible temporary contract. This role is ideal if you want short- or medium-term work, consistent hours, excellent hourly pay, and no agency involvement.
Pay & Working Pattern
* £19–£22 per hour (depending on experience)
* Paid weekly
* No agency fees – your pay stays with you
* Flexible contract length
* Monday–Friday working pattern
* Optional Saturday work on rota
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics to manufacturer standards
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Complete work accurately and efficiently within agreed timescales
* Test and verify completed repairs for safety and compliance
* Maintain clear and accurate job records
* Communicate effectively with the workshop team on job progress
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Confident using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications beneficial but not essential
