An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working individual to join our friendly night Care Assistant team.
Orchard House is a 33 bed Residential Care Home in Barton Seagrave, providing care for clients who are elderly, many with dementia. We are passionate about providing high quality care in a home from home environment.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be caring and compassionate, ideally with previous experience working in a residential care home. You must:
* Be caring, empathetic and respectful
* Dedicated to delivering high quality care.
* Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our residents
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Willing to complete NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2
About the role:
As a care assistant, you will play an important role within our team, helping us deliver high standards of care to our residents. This is a varied role however the main duties will include:
* Supporting our residents with personal care and all aspects of daily life.
* Escort residents for external appointments or outings.
* Building professional relationships with residents, providing physical & emotional support and promoting quality of life.
* Delivering a warm and friendly service, in welcoming relatives and healthcare professionals to our home.
* Completing care records
* Completing training
