Job Description
We’re looking for a Multi‑Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to join the Neath Port Talbot Hospital team based in Wales. The role is located at Neath Port Talbot Hospital, Port Talbot and includes remote working with occasional travel to the office. The position requires 37.5 hours per week, with shift options of 08:00‑16:30, 06:00‑14:00, or 14:00‑22:00. No certificates of sponsorship will be offered.
Key responsibilities
* Carry out routine preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and installation works, ensuring all SLA/KPI targets are met.
* Diagnose and repair faults on systems and equipment, taking ownership of assigned tasks.
* Install new plant and equipment while maintaining excellent standards.
* Contribute to asset management by providing regular updates and condition ratings.
* Identify additional work requirements and prepare material and labour estimates.
Qualifications and qualities
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering, including 18th Edition certification.
* A collaborative energy and enjoyment of working within supportive teams to deliver excellent results.
* A passion for delivering trusted service with a focus on safety, ethics, and community.
* Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving abilities and technical knowledge.
* Akeenness to develop professional skills, potentially working towards EngTech accreditation.
