Key Responsibilities
* Deliver consistently excellent teaching and support for student learning, influencing others via own practice; develop and apply high quality and appropriate teaching techniques and materials.
* Design, develop and deliver a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new modules at various levels; develop business cases based upon market intelligence and commercial knowledge.
* Lead on the design and quality control of modules and/or programmes of study in specialist area ensuring the curriculum is up to date and international in its scope.
* Deliver teaching‑related scholarly outputs, evidenced by publication of teaching cases, journal articles directly advancing teaching and learning, authorship of teaching‑related textbooks or scholarly book chapters, and/or publications in practice‑oriented outlets focused on educational practice.
* Secure funding from external sources (industry, community, government) to support teaching and learning activities.
* Undertake leadership roles in academic administration for own department/school or faculty in areas such as admissions, recruitment, timetabling, examinations, student attendance and placement.
Qualifications
* A PhD degree in relevant subject area.
* Extensive experience in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching in higher education; evidence of innovation in curriculum development, course design and course delivery; commitment to delivery of quality services to students.
* Demonstrated substantial professional experience in sustainability and governance sectors (e.g., policy advisory, corporate sustainability roles, or governance consulting).
* Ability and passion to work in the multicultural environment of UNNC.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Remuneration, Benefits and Support A successful candidate will be offered a five‑year contract. Salary will be within the range of RMB 635,038 to RMB 780,622 per annum depending on qualifications and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance) and will include accommodation allowance, insurances, schooling support, home flight, relocation & repatriation support, paid annual leave and a range of Chinese talent scheme application opportunities.
