Systems Design Engineer – £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, Surrey (Hybrid flexibility)
Salary & benefits:
* £45,000 – £50,000 + bonus + pension

Working hours: 08:30 am – 17:30 pm (Hybrid availability – 3 days in office, 2 days at home)
Location: commutable from Redhill, Crawley, Epson, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Surrey and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Produce electrical and occasionally mechanical drawings to support projects and manufacturing.
* Develop design concepts from first principles, ensuring compliance with robust industry standards.
* Collaborate with project and engineering teams to deliver high-quality CAD outputs.
* Support with software selection and best practice in CAD tools.
Qualifications
* HND/HNC, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification.
* 5 years+ experience in electrical/systems design.
* Ideally some exposure and understanding of mechanical/electromechanical design.
* Knowledge of BS7671, BS8888:2017 and EU directives is advantageous.
* Proficient in AutoCAD; Electrical CAD software (e.g. SEE Electrical/ETAP).
* Able to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings, including STEP files.
* Eligible for, or able to achieve, SC Security Clearance.
