Position: Site Supervisor - Water Metering
Location: Thames Valley
Contract: Contract to Permanent - Starting salary up to £40,000 per annum + Van and Fuel provided
Hours: 45 per week (Mon-Fri), with potential for weekend/on-call work

We're working with a leading main contractor on a major water metering project in the Thames Valley area. They're looking for hands-on individuals with a plumbing background who are ready to move off the tools and into long-term site management.

What You'll Be Doing:
Supervising a team of metering operatives, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on all works.
Taking responsibility for on-site H&S compliance, audits, and equipment checks.
Signing off permits, verifying training and certifications, and maintaining site readiness.
Mentoring and supporting operatives to improve performance and develop their skills.
Managing daily schedules, resources, and workloads effectively.
Acting as the point of contact for customer queries and resolving issues professionally.
What We're Looking For:
✔ Plumbing background with relevant trade qualifications (NVQ/City and Guilds level 2 minimum)
✔ Experience leading teams or mentoring colleagues on site
✔ Desire to transition into a long-term management role
✔ Water hygiene certificate (desirable but not essential)✔ Full UK driving licence
