Department: Finance / FP&A / Business Systems Location: Hybrid (UK) Role Purpose This role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, optimisation, and development of the Group’s Prophix FP&A platform and Sage Intacct ERP. You will ensure both systems remain robust, scalable, and aligned to evolving business needs. This includes managing system configuration, data structures, integrations, reporting models, and supporting the FP&A team in delivering high‑quality financial insights. The role suits someone who combines strong technical systems capability, a solid understanding of FP&A processes, and the ability to translate business needs into well‑structured system solutions. Key Responsibilities Prophix (FP&A System) Own the administration, configuration, maintenance, and development of Prophix including: Data models, hierarchies, and cube structures Workflow setup for budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles Business rules, calculations, templates, and automation processes Report and dashboard design Manage Prophix month‑end data loads, reconciliations, and system validity checks. Develop new modules to support expanding FP&A needs (e.g., workforce planning, pricing models, capex modelling). Optimise existing Prophix processes for efficiency, accuracy, and end‑user experience. Maintain documentation on data structures, logic, and processes. Support and train Finance users to ensure effective adoption. Sage Intacct (ERP) Maintain Sage Intacct configuration including: Dimensions, chart of accounts, and user permissions Accounts payable/receivable workflows Reporting and dashboards Period‑end controls and validation Liaise with Finance and Operations to ensure processes remain aligned with best practice. Manage upgrades, new module rollouts, and test environments. Ensure strong financial governance and system control compliance. Integration & Data Management Own integration between Prophix, Sage Intacct, payroll systems, and other operational platforms. Build and maintain efficient ETL processes for clean, reliable data flows. Conduct periodic data quality reviews to improve accuracy and reduce manual intervention. Support & Continuous Improvement Act as the first point of contact for system issues, enhancements, and performance improvements. Troubleshoot system behaviour and ensure prompt resolution. Lead projects to improve automation, reduce manual effort, and enhance forecasting accuracy. Work closely with FP&A, Financial Control, IT, and external system partners. Ideal Candidate Profile Technical Experience Required: Strong proficiency in: Multi‑dimensional data modelling Financial cube structures Workflow design & automation SQL, Power Query, or ETL tools (desirable but not mandatory) Experience developing: Budgeting & forecasting models Reporting packs and dashboards Allocation rules & driver‑based models Preferable, not essential: exposure to working with Prophix, Sage Intacct, or similar FP&A/ERP tools (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, TM1, Board, Workday Adaptive, Hyperion). FP&A Process Experience A strong understanding of core FP&A activities including: Budgeting and forecasting cycles Month‑end reporting and variance analysis Revenue and cost modelling Headcount planning Profitability and margin analysis Multi‑entity or multi‑currency consolidation Business & Soft Skills Comfortable translating financial processes into system logic and structured models. Able to work with Finance teams to define requirements and challenge assumptions. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non‑technical users. Proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
