About the role…
As a CCTV Drainage Engineer, you’ll work from one of our custom?equipped CCTV vans, travelling to a diverse range of sites — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road and utility environments — across the UK.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out detailed CCTV surveys of drainage systems, assessing pipe conditions, analysing findings and producing high-quality reports. You’ll often work alongside our Jetting Units, taking responsibility for all on?site activity to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
This is a full-time, permanent role based from our Leicester office.
As a CCTV Drainage Engineer you will…
Take day?to?day responsibility for site staff and all associated on?site activities, working closely with the Project Supervisor
Ensure site teams comply with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
Adhere to all company policies and ensure all site incidents are reported promptly
Pre?site and pre?plan work alongside the Project Supervisor
Identify and resolve issues quickly to prevent escalation
Oversee all Jetting and CCTV work undertaken on site
Produce accurate, high?quality survey reports, results and client feedback
Build strong working relationships, ensuring clear communication and early issue resolution
Be flexible — the role includes early starts, weekend work and out?of?hours shifts as part of our 24/7 operation
About you…
You’ll have experience or qualifications within the Utilities or Drainage industry, as well as a full, clean UK driving licence. You’ll bring solid technical knowledge and the ability to lead site activity confidently.
Ideally, you will also have:
• OS19X certification (MSCC5 standards)
• Experience using industry?standard CCTV equipment and software
• Strong understanding of Jetting & CCTV operations
• HGV qualifications (advantageous)
• Excellent Health & Safety awareness
• Strong communication and problem?solving skills
• The confidence to work independently and as part of a wider team
