Interim part-time receptionist YO32 £13.45 an hour Your new company We are seeking a professional, welcoming, and highly organised Receptionist to support our client's Corporate Head Office team in York. As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and professional impression of their organisation. This role is to start on 2nd March for 4 weeks, working Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm and Wednesday 8am-12.30pm. Your new role Warmly meet and greet visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional welcome.Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously. Maintain the reception and office areas, ensuring they remain clean, tidy, and presentable at all times. Manage visitor logs, meeting room bookings, and incoming/outgoing mail. Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required. What you'll need to succeed You must be available to start on Monday 2nd March and be able to commit to at least 4 weeks of assignment. Professional, presentable, and confident in dealing with visitors and callers.Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. Previous reception or customer-facing experience.
