Overview
This is a one year fixed term contract and unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people experiencing complex mental health challenges. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including the Consultant, Specialty Doctor, Psychologists, therapists, nurses and social workers to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The role involves inpatient responsibilities, contributing to assessment, treatment planning, risk management and ongoing therapeutic interventions. If you join our Trust we will ensure that you are supported and encouraged to pursue professional development interests and we have excellent links with the medical school at ARU and other educational establishments where we have shared appointments in teaching and research. You should be eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment. You will also need to provide evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at time of application and likelihood of achieving CT2 competences in psychiatry by the start date of the post.
Responsibilities
