The Link is a multi-service centre, designed to empower and support the residents of Walsall on their journey to employment. It will be a one-stop shop for individuals aged 16 and over, to access a wealth of resources and personalised mentoring from a diverse group of service providers, all within a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
A unique initiative, based in Walsall town centre that supports the key Government drivers of Skills for Jobs, Levelling up and the Towns Fund, this facility will host and work with a range of key partners including the National Careers Service, University of Wolverhampton, Department for Work and Pensions, Walsall Council, Walsall Housing Group and others.
Link Advisor Youth Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support the council and it's partners to deliver coordinated youth engagement initiatives for young people aged 14 and above with a particular emphasis on increasing participation amongst those aged 16-29..
This role demands strong organisational skills and the ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with stakeholders, all aimed at investing in the next generation of talent.
