The Work
* Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
* Draft and review privacy notices, internal policies, DPIAs, data sharing agreements and contractual data protection clauses
* Advise clients on UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and wider UK data protection compliance requirements
* Support clients in responding to and investigating data breaches, including regulatory reporting and engagement with the ICO
* Assist with data subject rights requests including access, erasure and rectification
* Deliver training to clients and support them in embedding data protection best practices
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver integrated, commercially focused advice
Your Experience
* Commercial Solicitor, NQ- 3 years PQE
* Genuine interest in data protection, privacy and information governance
* Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, solutions‑driven approach
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal issues clearly
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
