Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a preference for clean water projects and a passion for sustainable solutions?
Join Stantec and help us tackle the urgent water resource and climate change challenges facing our communities. From preparing utilities for summers with exceptionally low rainfall in the North to shaping the UK’s long‑term water supply resilience through water transfer, storage and recycling projects in the South, our clean water process team works on exciting projects that truly matter.
We are looking for a Principal Process Engineer to join our clean water team across a range of offices in the North of England. You will work on projects that span both AMP cycle and Strategic Resource Options schemes, collaborating with the national team on initiatives throughout the UK, with a primary focus on clients in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland.
Your day‑to‑day activities will include onsite test work, new system design, and utility business plan support, ensuring there is something for everyone.
What We’re Looking For
* Want to be part of the solutions to water catchment, resource scarcity, treatment and emerging pollutant challenges.
* Ideally Chartered with demonstrable experience working in a clean water process specialism (e.g. design, science or operation).
* Have experience in, or are looking to learn, on‑site testing techniques to help improve existing asset performance (e.g. jar testing).
* Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting, and want to be part of a growing & nurturing UK and global team.
* Are passionate about applying innovation along with industry best practice to deliver the best results for the water sector.
