As part of our Advisory Sales Enablement team, you’ll support teams across KPMG through the end-to-end process of winning work. We help with everything from identifying client issues and positioning KPMG to producing compelling proposal documents and pitches. You’ll work with senior stakeholders daily, building relationships, networking, and growing your knowledge. Our team sells innovative tools and solutions to major organizations, giving KPMG a competitive edge.
Why Join KPMG as a Pursuit Manager
The Pursuit Manager establishes and manages the pursuit process to support the pursuit team and Lead Partner, providing writing expertise. This role manages significant pursuits across advisory, often handling multiple simultaneously.
What will you be doing?
You will advise on all major aspects of the pursuit process, including maintaining action plans, developing pursuit timelines with milestones, supporting client contact plans, proposal design and production, attending value proposition and win theme sessions, conducting political analysis, storyboarding, providing first drafts of non-technical content, and quality checks. The Pursuit Manager will have sound knowledge of pursuit sales methodology and best practices, and will communicate timelines, responsibilities, and milestones to ensure successful completion.
What will you need to do it?
* Significant experience in pursuit project management with a proven record of winning business opportunities
* Deep understanding of the pursuit process and ability to leverage relevant experience
* Strong project management skills, prioritization, and deadline management
* Experience in writing/editing bids or business communications
* Creative skills and ability to express them in writing and verbally
* Excellent communication skills and ability to develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
* Strong organizational skills, initiative, and proactive approach
* Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate determination and persistence, and adopt a pragmatic approach
* Resilience and team-oriented mindset
