A Trainee Steel Processor is required to join a top-tier steel processing company at their site based in Oldbury. This is an exciting opportunity for you to begin a career within steel processing at a brand new state-of-the-art facility. No industry experience is required and full training is provided. You will be trained on a number of different machines, processes and duties, and they are looking to employ you for the long-term - career progression is both possible and encouraged. Tasks and duties you will initially train for will include: Operating overhead cranes to move different types of steel Banding, packing and palletising stock on the back end of the machines Loading / unloading vehicles Assisting with loading / offloading machine lines Training up to run a machine/line - Blanking Lines, Slitting Lines and moreA background in the steel industry is not required, however ideally you will have some experience in manufacturing / engineering.
