We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful design and delivery of a multi million pound capital investment programme of multi discipline projects. Working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners and a team of Project Managers, you’ll ensure projects are governed, commercially controlled, and delivered to the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen and hands-on experience managing programmes under NEC contracts. What you'll be doing: Lead delivery of a multi million pound capital programme, ensuring strong governance, planning, and execution. Maintain full commercial control, ensuring all projects align with NEC contract frameworks and protect the business from risk and loss. Ensure works are only initiated in line with approved budgets and Board-sanctioned governance. Present monthly programme forecasts, proactively managing risks, changes, and budget variances. Lead audits across Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance, driving continuous improvement. Oversee engineering solutions to ensure compliance with standards and protection of water quality and public health. Manage programme risks through a robust risk register, ensuring no surprises to senior stakeholders. Lead, develop, and support high-performing teams through clear objectives, regular reviews, and development plans. What we are looking for: Essential Strong NEC contract experience (NEC3/NEC4) Client-side or asset owner experience Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. water, utilities, infrastructure) Knowledge of AMP cycles / regulatory frameworks (if applicable) Programme controls experience (e.g. cost forecasting, Primavera P6, earned value) Degree in Engineering or related discipline Professional accreditation (e.g. Chartered Engineer, APM, or equivalent) What's in it for you?
