ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in England, UK.
ABOUT PROJECT
Our client is one of the leading British renewable energy companies specializing in zero-carbon power generation. They own and operate several power plants, focusing on sustainable biomass production, renewable electricity generation, and distribution to businesses. The company manages a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, including biomass, hydroelectric, and pumped hydro storage facilities across the UK.
REQUIREMENTS
o 5-6 years of IT project management experience, including in large corporate environments
o Proven track record of managing mid- to large-scale and fixed-price projects
o Strong understanding of IT systems, project life cycles, and project financials (profitability, revenue, margins, etc.)
o Proficiency in Scrum
o Familiarity with PMBOK and Earned Value Management (EVM)
o Advanced English
o Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with distributed teams and stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
o Develop full-scale project plans and track project tasks/milestones using appropriate tools
o Effectively analyze and report on project status
o Monitor project budgets (where applicable), ensuring efficient use of the investment
o Confidently remediate at risk or underperforming projects in collaboration with project teams
o Define project success criteria and communicate success criteria throughout the project life cycle
o Conduct lessons learned and produce recommendations for future projects
o Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
o Identify and resolve conflicts within a project team
o Motivate project resources and empower them to take accountability for their assigned tasks
