Location: Arthur’s Hill, Newcastle
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary
Are you passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their learning and development? A friendly and inclusive primary school based in the Arthur’s Hill area of Newcastle is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic unqualified Early Years Assistant to join their supportive Early Years team.
The Role
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant you will work within Nursery and or Reception, supporting children’s learning and development alongside the class teacher. Responsibilities include:
Supporting the Nursery and or Reception Teacher with daily classroom activities and observations
Helping to maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with play-based learning, structured sessions and daily routines, including personal care where required
Working closely with staff as part of a supportive school team
About You
The successful candidate will:
Be caring, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young children
Have strong communication skills and work well as part of a team
Show a genuine interest in early years education and child development
Be keen to gain experience and develop within a primary school setting
