What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Global Senior HR Business Partner to provide coaching, support and influence that enable the business to effectively deliver its people plans in alignment with both Business and HR strategies.
In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees within the Technology and Research & Development teams, supporting the full employee lifecycle. You will provide a consultative service that delivers expert advice and partnership across all HR-related areas, including performance management, career planning, leadership development and coaching, talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational design, and policy interpretation — working closely with specialist HR functions.
You’ll play a critical role in supporting fast‑paced, innovation‑focused teams, balancing scalability, compliance, and culture in a highly technical environment.
You will:
1. Partner with assigned Global Technical business units to deliver value‑added HR services aligned with overall business and product objectives.
2. Act as a strategic thought partner to R&D and Technology leadership, translating business goals into people, capability and workforce strategies that support innovation and growth.
3. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Employee Relations) to design and implement people programs tailored to technical and R&D team.
4. Provide guidance on workforce planning, skills evolution, talent retention, and internal mobility, with a strong focus on scarce technical and AI talent.
5. Support leaders in managing performance in highly skilled teams, including goal setting, feedback, development conversations, and performance improvement when required.
6. Advise on career frameworks and progression models for technical and engineering roles, ensuring clarity, fairness, and engagement.
7. Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, providing pragmatic, compliant, and people‑centered solutions in a matrixed, international environment.
8. Facilitate conflict resolution and courageous conversations at all organizational levels.
9. Design and implement culture, engagement, and change initiatives that resonate with scientists, engineers, and product teams working in agile and R&D settings.
10. Provide interpretation of HR policies, recommend improvements, and support the evolution of practices in response to changing business and regulatory needs.
11. Develop and deliver presentations and enablement sessions on HR and people topics for technical leadership audiences.
12. Ensure compliance with local legislation while supporting globally consistent and scalable people practices
What we’re looking for
13. 5+ years of hands-on HR Business Partner or Generalist experience, supporting complex, fast-moving client groups.
14. Demonstrated experience partnering with technical, engineering, AI, or R&D organizations, with confidence working alongside highly specialized roles.
15. Proven ability to advise leaders on a broad range of HR topics, including organizational design, performance management, reward, career frameworks, and employee relations.
16. Strong understanding of the people dynamics of innovation-driven environments (e.g., rapid change, high autonomy, cross-functional collaboration).
17. Proven experience leading or contributing to complex, global HR projects, such as organizational transformations, workforce planning initiatives, career framework implementations, change management programs, or global policy rollouts — working across regions, cultures, and stakeholders.
18. Passion for shaping and sustaining inclusive, high-performance cultures within technical teams.
19. Strong problem‑solving and judgment skills, with the ability to balance business outcomes, employee experience, and compliance.
20. Excellent communication skills, with the credibility and presence to influence senior leaders and engage diverse audiences.
21. A proactive, curious mindset and comfort navigating ambiguity in evolving technical landscapes.
