I am working with a highly regarded professional services firm seeking to appoint an Associate Director into its growing Real Estate Advisory team in London.
This is a senior, client facing role suited to individuals with direct experience in M&A, restructuring, or debt advisory, ideally gained within a professional services or advisory environment. The position offers significant responsibility, including ownership of mandates, business development, and leadership within a dynamic team.
The Role
You will lead the execution of real estate advisory mandates end to end, taking a hands on approach across the full deal lifecycle. This includes origination, structuring, negotiation, and completion.
While working closely with Partners, you will have real autonomy to manage transactions, shape client strategy, and deliver outcomes. Alongside execution, you will play a key role in developing the team and contributing to the broader growth of the practice.
Business development is central to the role. You will be expected to leverage your network, identify opportunities, and build long term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead debt and equity capital raising, refinancing, structured finance, and special situations mandates from origination through to completion
* Take full ownership of client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the deal lifecycle
* Structure transactions and oversee detailed financial modelling and analysis
* Prepare and review high quality financing materials for lenders and investors
* Drive transactions forward, managing stakeholders through to successful execution
* Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to a high performing advisory team
* Support business development initiatives and the continued growth and positioning of the Real Estate Advisory practice
The Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrable experience in M&A, restructuring, or debt advisory, with direct involvement in executing transactions end to end
* Background within professional services, corporate finance, or advisory, with a strong client facing track record
* Real estate experience preferred, though candidates with relevant transaction experience in adjacent sectors will also be considered
* Not suited to candidates from purely investment management backgrounds without hands on advisory and execution exposure
* Commercially minded, with the ability to originate work and build credibility with senior stakeholders
* Strong financial modelling capability and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
