I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in East Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a role that offers real ownership, variety, and the chance to influence key business decisions.
The Role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you'll play a central role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, while driving improvements across systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Producing monthly management accounts within set deadlines
* Leading month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
* Delivering insightful management information with clear variance analysis
* Supporting internal and external reporting requirements, including audit
* Building strong relationships across the business to ensure accurate financial data
* Identifying and implementing process and system improvements
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and wider commercial finance activities
About You
* Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Experience within a busy finance function
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
* Confident communicator, able to work with stakeholders across the business
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working to deadlines
* Strong Excel skills
