Smile Education is partnering with a high-achieving girls only secondary school near Solihull, who are looking to welcome a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to their team from April 2026 (or sooner for the right candidate).
If you love bringing chemical reactions to life, breaking down complex concepts, and inspiring students to see the real-world power of chemistry, this could be the role for you.
The Role As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, well-planned Chemistry lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking
Inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Chemistry
Occasionally provide general science cover where required, helping maintain continuity of learning across the schoolYou’ll be joining a supportive, energetic, and collaborative department that values professional development and is committed to helping both staff and students thrive.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A degree in Chemistry or a related science subject and QTS (or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to make Chemistry engaging, accessible, and relevant
Excellent classroom management skills and a motivating teaching style
