Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile

As Head of Science, you will be expected to:
* Strategic Vision: Develop and implement an ambitious strategy for the Science department, overseeing curriculum design and delivery from KS3 through to A-Level across all three specialisms.

* Resource & Safety: Manage the departmental budget efficiently, ensuring laboratories are fully resourced, well-maintained, and strictly comply with CLEAPSS and all safety regulations.
* Whole-School Contribution: Serve as a key link to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), promoting STEM engagement across the school and wider community.
