About The Role

This NHS 111 Call Handlers’ training will allow you to progress in your career as Health Advisor, working alongside a very diverse, inclusive and fun team, dedicated to support the NHS 111 service and provide first point of care to our patients when they’re at their most vulnerable.
We can currently offer one of the following arrangements:
1. early evenings
2. 2-day weekend
You will need to invest a minimum of 16 hours.
Please note: If you require hours of more than 24 hours per week, including full-time roles (37.5 hours), we may be able to accommodate you, if you are happy to work more weekend hours (this may mean working every weekend and taking days off during the week)
This training is office based in Ipswich.
You will complete a number of NHS Pathways and NHS 111 service specific courses to become a licensed operator working within the live service.
We offer part-time, classroom-based Pathway and Adastra training over a 6.5 week period on : Saturday & Sunday (9am-5pm), + Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (5pm-9.30pm)
The training is paid at £11.48 per hour. Attending every training day is essential.
Upon completion, you will receive a further eight weeks’ support before you are signed off as a fully accredited/licensed Pathways Health Advisor.
