The Role Do you want to help create an outstanding workplace where our people can thrive? We are now looking for a confident, organised, and tech-curious People & Culture Officer to join our friendly People & Culture team on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. The Role This post will support the day-to-day running of our HR and learning systems, employee lifecycle administration, and first-line People queries. You will also contribute to process improvement and help ensure our systems and tools are used effectively across the organisation. You will: Lead on the day-to-day management of our HR system (Personio) and support the rollout and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS). Maintain accurate employee records, workflows, and templates, and ensure GDPR compliance. Prepare contracts, offer letters, onboarding materials, and support offboarding processes. Track key dates such as probation reviews, appraisals, and training completion. Respond to employee queries with warmth and professionalism, signposting as needed. Support Learning & Development coordination, including scheduling sessions, tracking completion, and gathering feedback. Contribute to process improvements to make HR systems and administration more efficient and user-friendly. What We’re Looking For We’d love to hear from you if you have: Previous experience in HR, People Administration, or HR Systems roles, supporting the full employee cycle. Confidence using HR systems (Personio or similar) and a curiosity for digital tools. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A calm, friendly communication style (written and verbal). A proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to handle confidential information. Team player attitude and a willingness to support colleagues where needed. Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR qualification; experience managing an LMS; experience in a fixed-term or cover role.
