Overview
The post will be a support role to patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations. The Radiology facility at New Cross Hospital is a purpose-built unit completed in 2003, with excellent facilities for patients and staff. There is a brand new community diagnostic centre (CDC) with Radiology facilities at Cannock Chase Hospital. This post may require rotation across both sites as required by service needs. Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly to include early morning, evening and weekend shifts. Participation in the Bank/Statutory Holiday Rota is a requirement of this post.

Responsibilities
* Provide support to patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations.
* Rotate across sites (New Cross Hospital and Cannock Chase Hospital) as required by service needs.
* Work flexibly to include early morning, evening and weekend shifts; participate in Bank/Statutory Holiday Rota as a requirement.
* Contribute to safe and effective clinical practice and to enhance the patient\'s experience.
* Help manage and develop the performance of the team and contribute to the delivery of the organisation\'s objectives.
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics
* Previous experience in a caring role/profession
* Committed to providing quality care
* Highly motivated and want to be part of a dedicated team
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus
