Aspire People is working with a thriving and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes with a well-established school-based nursery setting. They are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead their Early Years provision from September 2025.
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring it operates smoothly, safely, and in line with EYFS and safeguarding regulations
Lead and support a team of Early Years Practitioners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
Deliver and model high-quality teaching and learning, supporting school readiness and holistic development
Build strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external agencies
Monitor and evaluate practice across the nursery, leading on planning, observations, and assessments
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including health & safety, safeguarding, and GDPR
Work closely with the school leadership team to align the nursery with the wider school ethos and priorities
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a confident and capable Nursery Manager who:
Holds at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or higher desirable)
Has substantial experience in a nursery or Early Years setting, with leadership responsibilities
Demonstrates a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood development
Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational and team management skills
Is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child
Has a good understanding of safeguarding, SEND, and inclusion in the Early Years
