Domestic Assistant. Oak Springs Care Home
* Pay: £12.76 per hour
* Hours: 15 hours per week
* Shifts: 2 days per week, 8am– 4pm (including some weekends)

Your Role as a Domestic Assistant
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital part in maintaining the comfort and cleanliness of our home, ensuring residents enjoy a safe and welcoming environment. Duties include:
* Ensuring all areas of the home are cleaned to a high standard, including residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
* Following cleaning schedules to ensure the home complies with infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.
* Managing laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and linens.
* Restocking cleaning and laundry supplies and reporting any shortages.
* Assisting with deep cleaning tasks when required, such as after maintenance or during routine sanitation cycles.
* Supporting a positive and respectful environment, interacting warmly with residents, their families, and the wider team.

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What We’re Looking For:
* A friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A strong sense of teamwork and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
* Prior experience in cleaning and/or laundry, either professionally or in a domestic setting.
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols meticulously.
* A flexible approach to work, including availability for weekend shifts.
