HR Business Partner at Dalkia Engineering

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Instrument Pipe Fitter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic company working on exciting projects across various sectors, focusing on delivering precision and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for instruments, valves, and other components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure correct pipe fabrication and installation.
* Perform installation of instrument tubing, pipework, and associated components to meet operational and safety standards.
* Test and inspect piping systems for leaks, pressure, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
* Collaborate with the instrumentation team to ensure proper integration of pipework with electrical and control systems.
* Ensure all pipe fitting work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship, and safety on-site.
* Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of equipment and systems.
* Support maintenance and repair activities as required.
Key Requirements:
* A valid ECS trade card
* A valid CCNSG National Safety Passport
* Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 in Instrumentation or Pipe Fitting (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as an Instrument Pipe Fitter or similar mechanical/technical role within the industrial sector
* Strong knowledge of instrument piping systems, fittings, and assembly techniques
* Experience working with materials like stainless steel, copper, and plastic piping
* Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems, including flow and pressure
* Excellent attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving license
* Understanding of health and safety practices and a commitment to safe working procedures
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
