We’re on the lookout for a Contracts Officer to join our growing consulting team, supporting procurement and contract services for a key public sector client.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role perfect for someone highly organised, confident with digital tools, and comfortable managing multiple contracts and internal systems. Alongside contract oversight, you’ll take the lead in setting up our internal task and project management platform (e.g. Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and regularly update the contracts register, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely renewals.Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and suppliers on contract-related matters.Set up and manage a workflow/project management platform to streamline internal operations.Collect, analyse, and present procurement and contract data to support strategic decisions.Provide general administrative support: document control, meeting coordination, records management.Contribute to improving internal processes, templates, and tools related to contract lifecycle management.
About You
2+ years’ experience in procurement, contract management, or a similar field.Comfortable working in hybrid or remote environments and at times managing your own workload.Tech-savvy and confident with tools like Excel (including pivot tables/dashboards), project management systems, and document repositories.A strong communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.Detail-oriented, highly organised, and systems-driven.Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and frameworks.
Desirable Skills (Bonus Points)
Familiarity with procurement or e-sourcing platforms.Experience drafting or reviewing contracts with an eye for detail.Background in supplier engagement, contract reviews, or contract performance reporting.
