We are seeking a highly capable Team Manager based from our Guiseley office with strong insurance technical knowledge, proven broking experience, and excellent people leadership skills. This role will lead a team specialising in public sector and commercial insurance, ensuring high technical standards, exceptional client service, and efficient operational delivery.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, organised, and proactive leader who can motivate and develop a team (including remote staff), implement and refine systems and processes, manage workflow and resource allocation, and contribute to commercial success—including supporting tender responses and operational project management.

Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in complex commercial insurance broking, ideally including public sector clients.
Strong technical insurance knowledge, with confidence reviewing cover, interpreting policy wordings, and advising staff.
Experience managing or supervising a team within an insurance environment.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to balance competing priorities.
Excellent MS Office suite skills particularly Excel
Familiarity with Acturis (essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a positive team culture.
Confident decision-maker with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Experience contributing to tenders, bid writing, or procurement processes (advantageous).
Able to set clear performance expectations, manage performance, and maintain standards—both onsite and remotely.
Strong Maths, written and spoken English, with at least GCSE / o-level equivalent passes, and ideally higher.
ACII preferred, Dip CII advantageous
