What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering works on our Water Utility and Environmental Agency contracts. Travel and overnight stays will be part of the job.
1. Assist with the preparation of sites, including unloading and storing of building materials and plant.
2. Store, handle, use, and dispose of materials correctly.
3. Perform physical tasks such as basic timber shuttering, drainage, kerb laying, material mixing, and application.
4. Operate heavy machinery in conjunction with CPCS training, e.g., diggers, dumpers, compressors.
5. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, including wearing full PPE at all times.
6. Follow the Company Safety Handbook and all safety instructions.
7. Follow all training and reasonable instructions given.
Who we're looking for:
* Experience working on-site as a labourer.
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work safely at heights, following relevant training.
* Ability to follow instructions and accept personal responsibility.
* Ability to lift, carry, and push equipment.
* Proactive in health & safety reporting and actions.
* Good driving skills in company vans; driving will be monitored and tracked.
* Willingness to attend training courses as required.
* Willingness to travel and work away from home when needed.
