The Vacancy
We are seeking a driven and experienced Section Manager to lead the delivery of planned works across a large-scale social housing programme in Wolverhampton. This includes managing void refurbishments, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, electrical works, roofing, and SHDF-funded elementals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple workstreams.
2. Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery.
3. Coordinate with tenants, client representatives, and internal teams to minimise disruption and maintain satisfaction.
4. Monitor progress, budgets, and compliance with health and safety standards.
5. Report on KPIs, programme milestones, and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
6. Proven experience managing planned works in social housing environments.
7. Strong knowledge of voids, kitchens, bathrooms, electrics, roofing, and SHDF-funded retrofit works.
8. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
9. SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications (or equivalent).
10. Full UK driving licence.
