What you will be doing: In this role, you will be responsible for installing new bathrooms in our tenanted homes, completing all elements of the job -excluding electrical work, with a focus on quality, safety, and minimal disruption to residents. Specifically you will: Deliver works to a high standard in accordance with your trade training, experience and industry best practice. Ensure the satisfaction of the customer by having a fixed first-time approach to all jobs. Follow work instructions efficiently and carry out works required as detailed in the instruction. Ensure strict compliance with legislative requirements. Develop and maintain good levels of communication with colleagues and customers. Be available for the out of hours rota. What we are looking for: City in Guilds/ NVQ level 2 in plumbing or equivalent demonstrable experience. Experience in other associated trades e.g. carpentry, patch plastering, flooring, tiling and decorating. Experience of working in social housing or domestic properties. Experience working in occupied homes. Knowledge of this role's industry best practice to an intermediate/ advanced level and experienced in how to use this knowledge to ensure high standards and safe practices. Good communication skills.
