Humanities Teacher | Specialist School | September 2026 StartWe are supporting a specialist independent school in Outer London in the appointment of a Humanities Teacher to join from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Humanities Teacher to join a nurturing and highly structured environment where a Humanities Teacher will play a key role in shaping engaging, accessible learning. The school is a well-regarded independent specialist setting supporting neurodivergent young people with a primary diagnosis of autism.

The Role | Humanities Teacher- Position: Humanities Teacher (History, Geography & Religious Education)

- Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: M1-M6 Outer London
The Ideal Humanities TeacherWe are looking for a teacher who:
Essential:- Holds QTS
- Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
- Can confidently deliver across KS3 (KS2/KS4 experience beneficial)
- Has strong subject knowledge across History, Geography and/or RE
- Is committed to inclusive education and student wellbeing
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Desirable:- Experience working in a SEND or specialist setting
- Familiarity with autism-informed or trauma-informed approaches
- Experience teaching GCSE Humanities
