Reporting to: Local Marketing and Partnerships Lead
Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, 15hrs per week

About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, self‑motivated and charismatic Community Recruiter/Engagement Officer to support local recruitment efforts, build relationships within the community, raise brand awareness and inspire more people to pursue a career in care.
Responsibilities
* Work with a small cohort (3–5 branches) to grow their offline candidate pool and think outside the box.
* Be based in local care branches and travel frequently to visit branches and attend community events.
* Build and maintain strong local community ties to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities.
* Liaise with branches and Regional Relationship Managers to align recruitment requirements.
* Manage candidates through the recruitment process, including timely interviewing and supporting orientation/compliance.
* Organise, source and attend all local community events – act as branch event champion.
* Support branches to understand locally managed attraction strategies such as facebook pages or employee referral schemes.
* Review data and performance of local campaigns on an ongoing basis.
* Report and provide performance feedback weekly.
* Create engaging materials to discuss performance during branch visits and calls.
* Engage in long‑term community outreach – attend school talks, fairs, university/college job fairs, sector days, etc., to attract people to a career in care.
* Support the central marketing function to generate case studies and local PR opportunities for brand awareness.
* Ensure a positive and engaging experience for our Cares to aid long‑term retention and job satisfaction.
* Become a key member of the supported branch teams as the on‑ground company voice for recruitment and brand awareness.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must have a driver licence and own vehicle.
* Proven success and experience in a fast‑paced recruitment/engagement environment.
* Experience working within a care or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Comfortable with public speaking – attend events and present to groups and individuals about care roles.
* Skills in event management – planning, booking and coordinating events.
* Account management experience – sourcing and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
